CORE Association of REALTORS® gathers the following types of information needed to process your transactions, fulfill your requests, and maintain our membership records:

  • Contact information you provide (for example, your personal and business addresses, phone and fax numbers, firm affiliations, and titles).
  • Tracking information which our Web server automatically recognizes each time you visit one of our sites or communicate with us by email (for example, your domain name, your email address, and what pages you visit).
  • Information you volunteer via applications or surveys (for example, education, designations, specialties, affiliations with other real estate organizations, and general demographic data).

CORE Association of REALTORS® may use this information for the following:

  • Improve and customize the content and layout of our sites and other communications tools.
  • Notify you of updates to our site.
  • Notify you of relevant products and services.
  • Notify you of upcoming events and programs.
  • Compile specialty directories about which you will be made aware.
  • Track usage of our site.
  • Assist the National Association of REALTORS® and New Jersey REALTORS® and affiliated institutes, societies, and councils in membership tracking and for their use for purposes similar to those listed above.

Email contact information CORE Association of REALTORS® does not sell email addresses. CORE Association of REALTORS® may use your email address to directly send you information and may provide you with online informational or marketing messages that have been approved by CORE Association of REALTORS® together with other communications to which you have subscribed.

Other forms of contact information Forms of contact information other than email address (for example, street address) may be listed in the membership directories. CORE Association of REALTORS® will not share, sell or otherwise provide this contact information about you except for the following purposes:

  • As required by the National Association of REALTORS® or the New Jersey REALTORS®
  • To Affiliates members and other vendors for the purpose of contacting targeted groups of members.
  • When required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of our members or the public.
  • Some or all of the data collected during promotions or contests on our site that are sponsored by third parties may be shared with the sponsor for the purpose of a marketing follow-up by the sponsor.

Credit information Credit information that you and credit authorizers provide when you make payments by credit card or electronic check for products, dues, or other services will only be used to process the transactions you request. This information will be provided to and maintained by reputable credit reporting databases.

Updates to your information You may edit your personal contact information directly through the CORE Member Portal system or by contacting the CORE Association of REALTORS®.

Third-party links The Website may contain advertising or other information placed by advertising networks pursuant to agreements between CORE Association of REALTORS® and the advertising network, the National Association of Realtors® or the New Jersey Association of Realtors®. CORE Association of REALTORS® does not control these other entities, the sites of third parties reached through links on our site or their information collection practices, and CORE Association of REALTORS® will not be responsible for the activities of these third parties. The advertising network may use cookies to collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you click on the banner ads appearing on our sites. This information is collected by the advertising network for purposes of measuring and reporting on the advertising to advertisers and CORE Association of REALTORS®. The advertising network may also aggregate the information for certain other statistical and reporting purposes.

CORE Association of REALTORS® does not collect, gather or store the following types of information:

DMCA Policy

CORE Association of REALTORS® respects the intellectual property rights of others. Per the DMCA, CORE Association of REALTORS® will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement on the Site if submitted to CORE Association of REALTORS®’s Copyright Agent as described below. Upon receipt of a notice alleging copyright infringement, CORE Association of REALTORS® will take whatever action it deems appropriate within its sole discretion, including removal of the allegedly infringing materials and termination of access for repeat infringers of copyright protected content.

If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been violated by CORE Association of REALTORS® or by a third party who has uploaded materials to our website, please provide the following information to the designated Copyright Agent listed below:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;
  2. A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Site;
  3. An address, telephone number, and email address where we can contact you and, if different, an email address where the alleged infringing party, if not CORE Association of REALTORS®, can contact you;
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner or other intellectual property rights owner, by its agent, or by law;
  5. A statement by you under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
  6. Your electronic or physical signature.

CORE Association of REALTORS® may request additional information before removing any allegedly infringing material. In the event CORE Association of REALTORS® removes the allegedly infringing materials, CORE Association of REALTORS® will immediately notify the person responsible for posting such materials that CORE Association of REALTORS® removed or disabled access to the materials. CORE Association of REALTORS® may also provide the responsible person with your email address so that the person may respond to your allegations.
