CORE Association of REALTORS ® and Metro Centre Association (MCAR) of REALTORS ® have officially merged, creating the fourth largest Realtor association in New Jersey, with more than 8,000 members. The effective date is October 24, 2023.

The newly merged entity will use the CORE Association of REALTORS’ name until the National Association of REALTORS® approves a proposed name at a later date.

CORE will represent (4) counties: Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset, with office locations serving members in Trenton, Branchburg, and South River, NJ.

MCAR CEO Nicole Banbor has been named as the CEO of the merged association. View Nicole Banbor’s biography here.

“We are thrilled to officially welcome all members to the newly merged CORE and look forward to expanding our presence in central New Jersey,” said CEO Nicole Banbor.

“The largest benefit of the merger to the members is the strength of the combined organizations and wealth of knowledge between the staff, leadership team, and members,” she added.

2023 CORE President Judy Moriarty and 2023 MCAR President Phil Greco will serve as Co-Presidents for the new entity. The officers and directors currently holding office in both associations will serve for the remainder of 2023.
